    List of Unreleased Heroes in DotA

    These heroes have been in the [public] DotA maps since 6.73, that's like over 1 year!

    DOWNLOAD HERE

    IN-GAME, TYPE -CLEAR, HEROES SPAWN AT CENTRE OF MAP.

    Information taken directly from object files (DotA 6.77b). At least we know IceFrog is caring about unused models. The heroes are:

    • H0E1 Mortar Team
    • N0MD Priest
    • N0M9 Wyvern Outrider
    • E031 Edgewalker
    • N0M2 Dragonhawk
    • H0DL Ghost Revenant

    For more information, click on their respective tab. They contain unit statistics and a brief statement about their abilities as I currently understand them. What is written is based on some first-level testing. More information can come as a result of reading the map script (war3map.j).

    Relevant information shows it applies Drunken Haze that causes enemy units to miss 80% of their attacks.

    ABILITY TYPE: INSTANT (TRANSFORMATION)
    A skill that toggles between two forms: base hero and Siege form. The toggle has a 4 second CD. Reduces ms of the Mortar team to 100 but also increases attack damage by 50/100/150 and raises attack range to 1000/1250/1500. The Mortar Team can be made to attack ground, and all attacks hit in an AoE. When we tried to test orbs with this attack, the game crashed.

    Deals damage in a small AoE after a short delay based of a formula that seems to be partially derived off of the hero's AGI.

    Banshee's Anti-magic Shell on a target ally as well as increasing their movement speed.

    Cyclones everything in the area of effect (except buildings). After the cyclone ends, friendly units gain bonus movement speed whilst enemy units are slowed.

    Puts the hero into the Ethereal state for x seconds, at the same time increasing MS. The skill can be cast again to end the Ethereal state early, although at max level the CD and duration of the skill seem to be the same, allowing for the skill to be on all time.

    Actually, it seems to be bugged with cooldowns. Also it seems to grant magic resistance, thus mitigating the ethereal state increased spell damage. At level 4 it seems be 29%.

    ABILITY TYPE: TARGET POINT
    Fires 3 orbs in parralel line that each move at 800 units per second. These orbs deal damage and stun any units caught at the tip of the AoE.

    Deals damage to all enemy units in an x AoE and applies a buff. This buff reveals invis units and deals damage over time (It's essentially Dust with damage).

    Whenever Edge Walker casts a skill, all enemy units in an AoE of x are pulled y distance towards him.

    This skill seems to passively spawn a wisp next to Edgewalker at intervals of x seconds. He can have up to a maximum of 3 wisps around him at a given time. Casting this skill destroys one of the wisps and silences and deals damage in a small AoE. The CD of this skill is very short, but it's limited by the wisp spawns.

    Seems to be the same as Dragonhawk Rider's Arcane Seal skill. Well, it would make sense as this hero is named Dragonhawk. Prototype?

    [TABLE][​IMG]|Thrust [A2A9][/TABLE]

    ABILITY TYPE: TARGET UNIT [ANY]
    Pushes target away from the caster by ~350 units. The skill heals allies it's cast on and harms enemies. Can be targeted on self, will push in direction of facing if cast on self.

    [TABLE][​IMG]|Divine Wrath [A2AA][/TABLE]

    ABILITY TYPE: TARGET UNIT [ALLY]
    Targets a single ally and causes the caster to begin to channel. The targeted unit takes no damage for the duration of the channel. At the end of the channel, Dragonhawk gains a sub ability that allows her to launch a projectile that deals the negated damage in an AoE.

    Launches a missile in the targeted angle. Deals damage proportional to blocked damage. For best results, tank the fountain and then get a rampage.​

    You can test out the heroes in the attached map. Simply type -clear and they will spawn at the centre of the map. However, the following don't work:
    • Mortar Team's first three skills do nothing. Flash Bomb provides only an effect. Siege Form will crash the map if you buy an Orb Effect.
    • Ghost Revenant's Exhaustion - Actually is a global Thunder Clap.

    P.S. None of this information is from beta version, it's in the current public versions - it is made 100% accessible to the public. It's 'leaked' because it wasn't shown in the map and selectable, but it's not leaked because it's in the public versions. Anyone can read it if they know how to. Simply look at the unit text file, download at this place.

    P.P.S. What exactly is "OMG LION TEST" [h05N]? O_O

    Anyway Edgewalker Ghost Revenant and Dragonhawk 's model seems to be repeated , except their color.

    And maybe the 4th skill is their ultimate , it's just that they have a ASU so there will be a 4th level

    A lot of unit models share the same base, just different textures/colours. For example, Axe and Phantom Lancer (I am sure they both use GromHellscream.mdx). Drow Ranger and Windrunner (Dark Ranger and Ranger).

    You are correct. Thanks for pointing that out, I realised now that there is this piece of information I missed out:
    levels=3
    reqLevel=6
    levelSkip=5

    It means it has 3 levels, and the 4th level use tooltip is for an ASU. The reqLevel means you must be level 6, and can only learn every 5 levels. So yes, it is an ultimate. It seems to be consistent for two heroes I looked at, so I'm going to jump the gun and say that the order of abilities listed in the info file was attribute bonus, regular skills then ultimate.

    True. I forgot about that model. I did a search for "units\human\GryphonRider\GryphonRider" and sadly there is no unit using that model except for the default object for it.

    The ghost revenants wraiths will be the same as nxy's Bettles

    EDIT: Holy shit 5 int heroes?
    I hope ice frogs adds all of them at the same time. lol.

    About to post edited DotA with these heroes spawned when you type -clear.

    Mortar Team skills don't seem to work.


    WHAT? Most of the skills don't seem to work. Seems I have to go do some further editing of the script. I swear that some spells are coded. Strange.

    Wyvern Outrider's Wind Barrier, Ghost Revenant's Blackjack seem to do SOMETHING - not sure what though.

    Edit: Sigh, IceFrog removed the spell cast registration trigger. Time to fix that.

    I fixed it, download map in OP.

    "Divine Intervention" makes the target ally invulnerable.
    "Wraith" is a toggle-ethereal.
    "Thrust" pushes target in angle from the caster.

    Just a teaser.

    Why wouldn't it be legal? I assume you mean legal in a sort of more 'moral' sense of am I permitted to do this? I would say I am. I mentioned in the OP,

    He included the code, abilities and units in 6.77b, the same one on getdota.com. So he made it accessible to the public (albeit a more limited population of it, so basically anyone that knows wc3 well enough).
