    Looking for something to complement my multi-utility hero suggestion series after Quas, I came upon a hero removed from Guinsoo's early version, namely the thunderknight. Renaming him to Wex to fit the scheme in the process, after Invoker's lightning orb.

    The laws of the universe is seen even on the most basic components of it - the atoms. Once a mage in Dalaran, the Thunderknight soon found himself being invoked to a greater destiny. He was soon sent to the ethereal plane, where found himself being transformed into an entity that would govern the element of lightning. Lending his strength to the Invoker, he managed to free himself of the plane and manifest as a beast capable of commanding the protons and electrons, changing their charge at will, shooting fast lightnings and bolts that zaps and paralyzes his enemies. He is Wex, the embodiment of lightning.​

    Notes:
    • Abilities gained depends on the ratio of charges on the Essence of Wex V and Essence of Wex Ω. Furthermore, the charges can be manipulated even when there are spells and will affect the spells present, but will not change the spells. See the table below for the spells. Like Invoker, 2 spells can be created at a time and will superimpose the selection box and the attribute bonus icon.
    • Upon learning, 4 Wex orbs (the same used by Invoker) will start floating around Wex. The orbs will be replaced by the placing of the charges into the Essences. Placing charges on Essence of Wex V will turn the orbs into red sparks (Finger of Death <Effect>), and placing charges into Essence of Wex Ω will turn the orbs into blue sparks (Same model used in EMP and Illuminate).
    • The effect of the abilities is affected by the Esseces of Wex.
