Basically, i need help on the items NW should get. My skill build is:
    2.The Swarm/Geminate attack
    3.Geminate attack/The Swarm
    4.Max Shukuchi
    5.Max The Swarm
    6.Max Geminate
    Ulti inbetween.

    My current core:
    1.PT STR
    3.Urn of Shadows
    4.MAYBE a wand

Luxuries i use: That's where i need help the most. Every single guide lists Radiance as a core item. But you have to rice farm for it. And i HATE ricefarming. I usually go ganking and chasing. So, to use all spells once they are off CD i craft Orchid Malevolence and start building my MKB. If i suddenly feel that i have 2500 spare gold i start off with MKB, proceeding to get orchid afterwards. I have decent dps and infinite mana, but i feel that i am lacking something.

I beleive that it comes from the core. I need your help to create a decent core without radiance.

Thanks in advance. Best regards to all of you.

don't use a carry if you hate ricefarming?

If you're playing in a semi-serious game, you should really be ricing. However, in a pub, you can easily farm heroes instead. You should still get enough money for some nice items to compliment your core. Normally I like Linken's for mana regen and survivability, but since you already have a Vanguard, I wouldn't suggest it. I think Orchid is a little overkill, an Urn wouldn't be bad considering you're ganking often. Medallion is also very strong on Weaver. For big items I'd stick to MKB and Bfly.

^ricing with weaver is a waste of potential imo. sure rad is nice on him, but by the time he gets it teamfights are gonna happen which are not really his strength, especially when ppl bother countering him (which aint that easy tho). point is, hes a nice ganker and not exactly the hardest carry, so i wouldnt focus on creeps too much in most situations.

@OP: orchid is trash on weaver. id prolly rather have a battlefury :p balance survivability and dmg, ud want to survive impale finger skill etc. so u can ult. linkens, manta, BKB, vanguard, HoT help. for dmg, focus on raw dmg rather than attackspeed as that synergizes with geminate; crystalis/riza, radi, mkb...

you shouldnt have too many manaprobs tbh, urn/basi/medallion + stick are really enough.

E: if mana is such a prob, replace urn with basi, weaver has shittastic stats so its gonna give u more MP for quite some time. and i think ud love crystalis replacing rad as its cheap as fuck and still has noticeable impact

Treads/Wand/Wraiths are your core. After that, decide on Radiance or Linkens. Move on to luxuries such as Bfly, Buriza, Manta.

Situational: Hood if you need to survive a particular nuke combo.

Max Shukuci and The Swarm 1st if your going to harass / Gank mid - game.

    Treads (correct)
    Persi (later linkens)
Butterfly/Silence stick (depending on line up)

    Note: Bottle is optional*

or as a carry Max Shukuci and Geminate.

Radiance rush (assuming you can do it)
    BkB (a must)
Then damage items, Mkb, Butterfly, Crits etc. *divine

Note: Skadi isn't a bad item for him, but only get it as a 6th slot item if the game goes over 50 minutes*

Always take your ultimate at all respective levels as it is literally the difference between life and death.

P.S wand is good, but Urn, should leave a str hero to get, persi is better for weaver. If you look it on papaer Wand and Urn cost 1,384 gold, takes up two slots and you'll end up selling both these items later anyway. Persi cost 1,750 and gives passive regen for ganking.

P.P.S the 1st build is recommended over the carry build, if you gank hard enough and don't fuck up you'll become carry anyway

the thing with weaver is that you generally aim to get a great early game (not difficult with his insane early game potential), allowing you to farm up the relic through tower and hero kills. Weaver is relatively item independant for the first 10 levels meaning and with the help of some allies, she can survive and farm up that 3800 while still ganking often.

I reccomend you dont choose vg, and instead leave it at treads, get RoB and possibly a stick, and then "rush" (mostly farm, but still take part in fights) relic->rad.

Edit: if you dont want to use radi, going treads-vg-mkb works pretty well

The thing with Weaver is that he isn't the hardest carry. However, his mobility makes it ridiculously easy for him to hunt down supports, and his invisibility makes it annoyingly hard to stop him from doing so. Yes, teamfight is not his forte, but Radiance allows him to create chaos and turn teamfights into running battles, which he excels in. The longer Weaver is running around (and he should survive forever if you play him right), the more Radiance does. If you have a good way to force a battle, Weaver can slip in easily and dominate the teamfight.

OP: Sorry, I realize you're looking for an alternative to Rad, but that's just my reasoning for getting it. Basically anything high in damage is good, since Weaver doesn't provide sustained DPS until the teamfight is over. MKB and Crystalis are both good for maxing your 2-3 shots in between Shukuchi.

Weaver is one of the strongest Medallion carriers in game. An early Medallion is basically GG. 2 or 3 wraith bands, Treads and Linken's are great items on him. I don't like a Radiance unless rushed, it also helps his farming a lot. HoT, Hood and Vanguard are great items on him. Wand is good as well. DPS items like Butterfly, MKB and even crit are nice additions as well.

Basically, your inventory early game should look like this:
    Medaillon, Wand
    Tp, Treads
    2 Wraith Bands

And then upgrade that to what the game needs. Sheep Stick can never go wrong, Manta and BKB are nice items that can also counter certain heroes (silencing heroes for example). And really, only build Radiance if you can really farm it.

I'm really fan of FreewinneR Weaver. You can check him out here:

    Early game:

    Empty Slot

Then make a Radiance and you're set to own.

And Weaver is actually a decent teamfighter, while he doesn't love them like an ES he isn't like an Ezalor, by far.

anyone comment on the choice of bracers over wraiths, on the assumption that the small things can make a difference?

If you want more HP Bracers are better, but remember they're more expensive.

Rather get a linkens than orchid .. Even rush skadi if you want, stacks with geminate as long as you orb walk (forget bout it if you're lazy)

Why on earth would you get Orchid...Medallion and Wand are enough for your mana needs. I would definitely rush Radiance as Weaver, then follow up with a Linken's (Ultimate Orb first). After that just get damage items and maybe Skadi if you can afford it/the game lasts that long.

I only feel that my mana needs are satisfied when i can permainvis and use The Swarm when off CD.

Still, TY for the replies guys. I will consider linken. Why on earth have i never thought of this...

You shouldn't have any mana problems with Weaver beyond level 11 even if you don't boost up your mana.

2/3 shukuchi and using Swarm like Terror does not make up for creating Orchid over Radiance.

It is however an interesting item idea. Never thought of it before.

Na'Vi's GO[blin] plays a great Weaver. His item build includes Medallion, PT, VG, Radiance.
    Check this game out.
