how many gigs now is dota 2? up to the latest update
Gigs is a seperate term meaning something different than GBs or gigabytes, so I recommend you using the latter to prevent confusion.
Can't answer your question though, no beta key.
if the person got common sense he can answer my question
thanks for the info btw
I think someone stated earlier it's 2,9 GB or so in size at the moment.
Might be slightly larger now with the new patch out.
With the files created due to game crash, isn't it? Mine is 2.70GB without them.
The full client was 1.5GB when downloading and yesterday patch was 200MB.
It's that small? I thought it would be huge! So many amazing looking textures and models and every hero having more than two minutes of sound and usualy around 10 minutes.
Plus it would have it's own version of source. That would be rather large.
not sure what happend to mine but whatever : 3,62 GB (3.888.278.487 Bytes)
....and skyrim will be 6gb. Wow
my dota 2 is... i don't have a beta key:mellow:
....and Witcher 2 is like what, 16gb?
My Dota 2 Beta folder size is 2,78 GB
why do ppl even care about this staff is beyond me...
i hope someday i could answer this thread :/
Game crash? What the hell are you talking about
...Whenever the game crashes, it generates a file at the main folder.
Ie: dota_crash_20111025234715_1.mdmp for a crash at 23:47:15 on 10/25/2011.
That's the hell I'm talking about.
Before the last update I had a lot of 100MB+ files like that but I deleted them all when I discovered them while changing my Steam folder to another directory. The new ones are all 18MB each here.
1: how long it takes too download
2: how much content is in the game. Although most of the space is textures i think.
3: how much it clogs up the hardrive.
How is it so small? Could someone take a look at the files to tell me please?
cool story bro
