How does an average player become an MVP in dota?
I can now tell a fine line between an average player, and an extream pro.
I played dota for 6 years now, and I count my level average.
IF I HAVE TO CLIMB MOUNT EVEREST TO BE THE BEST AT THIS GAME, I WILL.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO, TO BECOME AN EXTREAM PRO? JUST GIMME ANYTHING I WILL DO IT ALL!

Get owned Over and Over because your opponents are better. At the end your opponents can no longer exceed your pro-ness.

Kuro etc. are giving lessons for 20$ an hour iirc. Also read every single miscelanious and hero guide since they might improve your knowledge. After this become a Mechfaq understand how to maximize your potential to the fullest. And last but not least eat cookies.

Ye, I second that... but getting owned just because your allies are complete noobs/retards (which will more than probably happen in unorganized games) won't help though, as it will just make you rage, and rage doesn't help improving.
Best would probably be to grab a team of people you like to play with (and who are more or less of the same level) and playing against other teams who're better than yours.

And if you want to be a pro like Kuro and such... find a way to get vouched for DotA Pride I guess, and get known there. I have no clue about the requirements though, I'm not aiming for that kind of leagues (yet).

Learn how to spell, first. Next, work on getting a more "pro" username that fits along with this general theme of "pro-ness."

    General Guidelines:
No sexual innuendos, if you just have to have one make it less blatant than "bigdick".
Never, NEVER end your username with a number, E.G. Shitface241, Isuck26, etc.
Don't make your username something stupid, like "TheFartLord".

You will look more cool if your username has a period, either at the beginning or between consecutive words. Example:

    .Hell or
    Hellish.Fiend.

Sadly, I don't have a computer headset and therefore cannot use Ventrilo :(.
