    This thread is for bug reports and feedback related to the Hero database, Item database, or Mechanics pages. Suggestions for things to add should also go here.

    When reporting a bug or incorrect information, please state exactly where it can be found.

    Mechanics staff will periodically review this thread and address the issues reported here.

    ALL of the tooltips need to be updated with the mana costs of each spell. Currently, there are spells missing the mana costs of each level and would be VERY handy to have while playing. Thanks.

    Vodoo - "disables damage block and evasion, and reduces the units base movement speed to 100";
    Diffusal Blade - how many damage deals per mana burned (can't recall);
    Cairne Bloodhoof can cast Echo Stomp while his spirit flyes to him after 8 seconds of Ancestral Spirit spell. Therefore, spirit will have no animation, but will stun enemies (don't know, if it's intended);
    Non-combat consumables: note, that the effect will end in case user takes at least 20 pre-reduction damage;
    Doom: does not stop Bloodstone;
    Note, what ultimates can go through BKB (for example, you can target unit under BKB effect with Lina ult, deals no damage);
    Tango of Essifation: dispels by Purge, though the icon remains;
    Gem: true sight AoE;
    MKB: True Strike interfers with critical strike and bash on ranged units;
    Weave and Arctic blast (and some more abilities, only two i can remember instantly): reveal fog of war in AoE;
    Some info about what Linken's blocks and what not;
    Cleave damage is pure;
    While in Spirit Form, Ezalor doesn't need to channel his 1st skill, but he can interrupt it by pressing "T"

    Red - heroes
    Green - items

    I hope this information will help players, will think about it more.

    Added:
    Quelling blade: shows alternate attack animation on some heroes;
    Magic Wand&Stick: note cooldown, AoE; (and, by the way, in Magic Stick despription cooldown is stated 25, in game it's shown 17)
    Yurnero\Tiny: Toss ends Bladefury;

    Pudge's Dismember notes:

    Notes:
    • Damage type: magical
    • Disable works on magic immune units.
    • A unit affected by dismember will continue to be disabled and damaged even if it becomes invisible.
    • Dismember is a channeling spell.
    • Can be improved by Aghanim's Scepter (* shows the improved values).
    • Improved version heals Pudge the same amount as it deals damage.
    Damage is divided by 4 and dealt every .25 seconds

    a better description on the mechanics of queen of pain's scream of pain would be nice, as of now it remains unclear what damage this skill does (the description would suggest 595 magic damage to each enemy unit in the AoE if you get 7 of them, which is likely in a dual lane, at lv1 scream of pain ~ but that is obviously not the case...)
    it would be also nice to point out what progression of slow the shadow strike skill has
    and maybe add the numbers in () of the 80% range of blink to the blink description

    In-game, pudge's aghanim's upgrade dismember says "additional 1*str damage + leech" but in the mechanics section it says "additional .75*str damage + leech"

    Aside from Ring of Health and Demon's Edge, the items in the Marketplace lack their description text.

    Syllabear's hero page could use additional spirit bear information like the bears damage, MS, BAT, etc.

    ogre magi's description for ignite when multicast triggers:

    • Multicast makes this spell have an AoE.

    now depending on whether it's x2 x3 x4 cast, i assume there will be greater benefits that scale accordingly - probably in larger AOE. this should be specified.

    Only Fireblast and Bloodlust have 2x, 3x and 4x Multicast chance. The AoE for Ignite depends on the level of the skill Multicast.

    right. i understand it depends. but the calculations for chance to trigger AOE for ignite is still the same calculations as for x2 x3 x4 multicast for the other moves. if so, there would be a 2 dimensional table.

    or are you saying that the degree of multicast does not matter and it's simply dependent on the level and multicast only? That the calculations for multicast may still be the same, but it is reduced to a binary function (yes multicast or no multicast) so there would be 4 possible AOE values rather than 12?

    you can understand that more detail would be helpful and it does not end at "ignite results in AOE" or "ignite AOE depends on level" THE AOE NEEDS TO BE SPECIFIED!

    If you have Multicast leveled, the AoE of Ignite is increased every time you cast it, percentile chances have nothing to do with it.

    so the AOE increase is cumulative or just a set AOE every time?
    confirm: multicase x2 x3 x4 has nothing to do with the AOE size.
    but the level of ignite does. second chart with 4 possibilities is correct or not?

    but wouldn't the chances of multicast triggering still apply towards whether u get AOE ignite or regular ignite? maybe you meant "x2 x3 x4 has nothing to do with it"

    (separate comlpictaed question: does the 50%25%12.5% apply added up to be 87.5%? also if pseudo random thing is applied, it would get mad complicated..)

    we still need an AOE value, although i realize you're just adding in a separate point.

    Magic stick/wand visual effect does not display on illusions. I.e. the real phantom lancer will stand out from the crowd if he has a magic stick and an enemy casts a spell in range

    @gwho: All that matters is the level of Multicast for the Ignite's AoE. Lvl1 Multicast gives Ignite 150 AoE, Lvl2 gives 300 AoE, Lvl3 gives 450 AoE. Old Scepter upgrade didn't increase this.

    @Ramomar: Dismember's damage is dealt at the beggining of each second, 0.01 seconds after the start of the animation and is dealt at 1 second damage intervals not in 0.25 seconds intervals. Note that the full damage of the spell is dealt by second 2.01 after Dismember started.
