Im veteran League of Legends player and recently have gotten really into Dota 2. i realize certain champions, like in LoL, are hard pub stompers. but when i see spirit breaker, i dont see how his ganks can be stopped. Is he good in higher level play, or is he just a pub stomper

    Heroes*

Also, a charged hero would have an indicator indicating that Spiritbreaker is charging at you. But even so it's not that hard to tell if a bara is charging at you or not. Ghost scepter helps a lot.

    He's just a pub stomper.
His ganks aren't stopped because no one is trying to stop him. Just think of it this way: why is he being successful? What is the most obvious answer to that? Figure out all the problems by experience. If you have a problem figuring out the answers, come back to us.

Spirit Breaker punishes teams very hard for having poor map awareness.
1.Make sure you have wards up as much as possible and have teammates carry teleports.
    2. Keep an eye on the minimap. If you can't see SB, dont extend too far or be alone.

He is pretty bad late game, unless he is fed really bad. Just stick together mid game, if u see him coming, u can stop him in his tracks.

He is a stomper only in low low skilled matches i think, where players often wander off alone too far from their team.

Also usually heroes with high hp can survive the charge/bash/ult combo most of the time. (ie easy to pick off drows, sniper, PA and the like)

Stun him before he hits you.

    La la la

If you can't stun him before he hits you then he is just a good ganker, not much else to be said. He lacks in most other areas except that he is pretty tanky.

There is no longer any charge indicator....

    [hr]

    get wards, get TP's.

If you see him coming TP somewhere else or call for an ally to TP to you. He's not OP, but if he gets fed hes an issue (same as any other hero).

or you can have a reaction time better than 2 seconds and mini-stun / stun / hex / anything that will ruin his combo

Spirit Breaker is a pubstomp hero.

    Pick Shadow Shaman or Lion.

Turn Spirit Breaker into a Chicken/Frog before he hits you or your ally.

    Also, welcome to DotA!

It's dangerous to play alone, take this.

At regular levels of play, people group together pretty quickly (about 10 minutes into the game). This is also around when SB comes online, so he really isn't very good because of this.

Always stick with your allies, pick some hero with disable. If you are squishy heroes without mechanic escape like drow or sniper, always tower hugging and stick with allies. Dont go alone

At least play the hero or against him before comment?

    OT:
    1) You can stun him when he is charging.
    2) stick to team in mid game for 5 man doto
    3) use Eul / Ghost Scepter if you can farm it
    4) outdps him

    That's all you can do.

All you need to do is stop his charge, you can use any stuns to do so, even Force Staff SB stops his charge, if he buys a Shadow Blade and use it while charging, then your team needs detection and 5 man doto, you can even setup to him, put a hero alone in the lane and 4 allied heros smoked behind him or around, when SB arrives just surprise buttsecks him.
