Are the nerfs overrated or is she as useless in practice as she seems to be on paper?

I never really liked Drow but I did not see this coming.

    And this is strategy how?
And anyway we won't be seeing drow in competitive for a while, because while her aggressive nature hasn't changed by her having ridiculous damage, her hero's defensive capabilities have been reduced to almost nothing. Because her main source of damage is COMPLETELY removed just by having a hero next to her, drow's reliability has fallen short of even mid-tier heroes.
She'll still be a massive pubstomper though

I don't know, but I suspect it'll be like when people were screaming Treant would be OP because Living Armor looked good on paper. Let's see how it works out in practice, Drow still has a 60% slow orb, a great aoe silence, and hits like a truck so long as they don't get in on you. I expect she'll still be a pub stomper but at higher/pro level play she won't be used.

It's strategy as in, "how do we approach playing this nerfed trash"?

She probably still gets all the creeps in lane at level 6.
    She still neuts quickly.
She still beats up towers at level 6.
She will still finish fights that initially go in her teams favor.
However she rolls over and dies when her team is behind.

Drow will see the enemy blink in, BKBs up to dodge the Tiderhunter's Ravage and proceeds to attack her enemies to death with 44-55+(lvl*1.9)*1.26 damage!
That would make about 120 damage at level 25.
    Have fun.

I mean if you can BKB on time might as well have a blink and let your Name Removed just dodge it for you.

If you have a better carry on your team, Force Staff seems like an okay choice.

Actually it would be 44-55+(lvl*1.9)*1.26+24 to account for the damage BKB will give. :cool1:

She completely gets raped by melee blinkers
Everyone can blink in her face and make her useless :)

It doesn't really matter if she had farm or not

Which means u have to get force staff to counteract...retardedness overload

Drow and Kardel play style will be the same, but sniper is now a better drow

Why not building force staff on one of her allies who can save her.

Sniper is still shit, drow can still be arguable in pub games.

What's the option now? Force staff?

I usually go for Treads - Hotd - Lothar before getting crystalis/yasha/manta/butterfly/buriza/ whatever.

so now it is force staff?

No, unlike Drow Sniper has shit MS and no real scaling damage boost.

Because Drow's ms is something to write home about, along with her 120 damage per hit amirite?
Trueshot Aura is pathetic enough with utli on, if you take ulti off...

unlike Drow, sniper can almost deny every creeps and get the last hit of everything. not to mention that handy ulti to get kills.

850 range? and free pseudoMKB at level 1?

    Sniper is OP.
