      turns out I had bad form, with my hips way too low (almost like parallel squats) and pulling with my arms.

      I know it's important, but it just feels so wrong.

      If you don't keep your back absolutely straight -not rounded- on every rep you have a high likelihood of injuring yourself. Every single rep I do I think "Is this going to be the rep I'm too tired/sloppy and fuck myself up?" How isn't that messed up? Not natural, bro.

      (I know you can theoretically injure yourself on any exercise, but the deadlift is just up there when it comes to the chance and scale of the injury.)

      I've googled, and to my non-surprise all the results are for womanly cardio exercises or workouts with elastic bands.

      Do you mean I should just cut - aka diet down and not attempt to progress with the weights (but keep the same exercises)?

      (And I'm afraid I will never get big bruh. Not my goal anyway. I'm vegan, against protein powder and on a tight budget. Probably around 15% of my calories come from proteins -mostly tofu, legumes, nuts, whole wheat/brown rice/etc- right now, and I don't see how I could significantly change that, soooo...)
